A Different World 2026 Sequel Release Date

You can watch the sequel exclusively on Netflix from September 24, 2026. Earlier campus premieres are separate events, so keep those dates apart when planning to stream Season 1.

A new student with familiar parents

Follow Deborah Wayne, played by Maleah Joi Moon, through her freshman year at her parents' former college. She is Dwayne Wayne and Whitley Gilbert's youngest daughter; Kadeem Hardison and Jasmine Guy return as her parents. The story follows her friendships, romance and efforts to make her own choices.

The setting is Hillman College, a fictional HBCU, meaning a college or university historically established to educate Black students. You do not need to watch the original series first, although knowing the family connections helps.

Keep viewing plans and event plans separate

If you are choosing between streaming and attending an event, treat them as separate plans:

  • For streaming, September 24, 2026 is the release date. A Netflix reminder provides release notifications, without early viewing.
  • For the Spelman College in-person premiere on September 21, 2026 (United States), check attendance requirements with the organizer.
  • For the Morehouse College film festival event on September 22, 2026 (United States), check that organizer's requirements. A Netflix reminder does not reserve a seat.

Check the title and local playback details

Choose the 2026 sequel in search results; the original series is the 1987 title. Season 1 has 10 episodes in a 30-minute format, but that does not mean every episode has the same runtime. Check individual lengths after release when planning viewing time.

Before watching, you can confirm regional playback information and membership prices on Netflix. (verified value South Korea: Standard with ads ₩7,000/month; Standard ₩13,500/month; Premium ₩17,000/month · source netflix.com · checked 2026-09-21) For Korean subtitles or audio, check the title screen; the title-specific information reviewed does not give a separate release time for South Korea.

To prepare today, sign in to Netflix, open the 2026 sequel and select Remind Me. Review saved reminders in My Netflix. Follow the steps in the original article on Injoys.

Bitcoin Rally Claims Reviewed: U.S. Liquidity, Stablecoins, Reserves and Mining

Image
If you are weighing claims that $3 trillion to $6 trillion of U.S. liquidity, a government Bitcoin reserve, or 24-hour stablecoin payments will trigger a Bitcoin rally, you need to separate policy changes from price predictions. The original article on Injoys reviews each claim and shows you where the evidence is strong, incomplete, or overstated. Why easier bank rules are not money printing You first get a clear explanation of the supplementary leverage ratio, or SLR. This rule requires large banks to maintain core capital relative to their total leverage exposure, which can include U.S. Treasuries and central-bank reserves. Recent easing may give banks more capacity to intermediate Treasuries and participate in repo markets. However, you should not treat that capacity as actual lending, asset purchases, or quantitative easing. QE involves Federal Reserve asset purchases and expansion of its balance sheet. The article therefore finds insufficient evidence that SLR reform will auto...

Annual enrollment runs from October 15 through December 7, 2026, with coverage starting January 1, 2027.   Compare costs for the care already needed You can view 2027 plan information starting October 1, 2026, but annual enrollment starts October 15. In Medicare Plan Finder, enter current medications and pharmacies, then compare estimated annual drug costs alongside monthly premiums. This helps show what filling regular prescriptions may cost. Check whether doctors and hospitals participate, and whether the chosen plan is accepting applications. Part D means prescription drug coverage; Medicare Advantage provides basic Medicare coverage through a private plan.   What the Medicare guide helps clarify The original article on OnBinder connects coverage choices with an application checklist and cost comparisons, helping you prepare...

Daedong Law 1651: Chungcheong Reform and Kim Yuk's Role

Image
If you are checking Chungcheong's tax rate in 1651, the answer is 10 du of rice annually per 1 gyeol of land, not the later rate of 12 du. The Hoseo Daedong Law collected 5 du in spring and 5 du in autumn. Kim Yuk's repeated proposals helped secure implementation in Chungcheong first. What changed in the tribute burden Instead of obtaining assigned tribute goods, obligations were assessed by land measured in gyeol. Revenue covered local expenses before the remainder went to the central government. This explains why the reform concerned both tax collection and spending: replacing tribute goods alone would not resolve additional collections for local costs. Historical painting of Joseon officials reviewing documents at low desks in a palace hall overlooking a courtyard Follow the Daedong Law through the records In the original article on Injoys, you can compare the tribute systems and follow a timeline of regional expansion. It distinguishes the initial rate from later rule...
