Tokyo Bay Grand Fireworks Festival 2026 Time and Entry

A smiling woman sits among spectators as pink fireworks burst over the harbor at dusk

A purchase confirmation will not get you into the Tokyo Bay Grand Fireworks Festival: entry requires a paper ticket. The fireworks run on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 17:30 to 19:00, Japan local time. No tickets will be sold at the event, and stopping on sidewalks to watch is prohibited.

Check the purchase cutoff and collect the ticket

The posted general sales deadline is 10:00 on October 24 (Japan), but availability and the payment and collection methods determine whether a purchase is still possible. Check Ticket Pia, the ticket seller, for current availability and the applicable cutoff. What the Tokyo Bay fireworks guide clarifies

The original article on Injoys brings together ticket prices, viewing locations, entry steps and traffic restriction tables. These let you compare the evening's schedule with routes that remain closed after the fireworks finish.

Plan the return trip before setting out

For a visit ending at 19:00, do not assume the route home opens immediately. Harumi Bridge and Toyosu Bridge remain restricted until around 20:10; some expressway exits stay closed until around 21:00.

Check the return route against the event access map before leaving. This can help you avoid planning around a bridge that is still closed. The Metropolitan Police Department advises public transportation; check train and bus operators' notices for that day's services.

Which ticket sales apply to visitors

General viewing tickets have no residency restrictions. Resident-priority sales have ended, but some remaining seats have become general tickets, priced at 5,000 yen more than the applicable priority price. If you already bought a resident-priority ticket, those converted seats cannot also be purchased.

Questions about attending

Does a preschool child need a ticket?

An exception covers preschool children under 6 sitting on a guardian's lap, limited to one child per guardian. For designated-area seating, the child must remain within the assigned space.

Can I go out and come back in?

Re-entry is not allowed. Collect anything needed from outside before entering.

What happens if bad weather cancels the event?

There is no rescheduled date. Cancellation before the fireworks start means only the base ticket price is refunded. If the display stops after starting, there is no refund.

Before travelling, check the viewing area and gate printed on the paper ticket against the official access map. Find the entry guidance and restriction schedules in the original article on Injoys.

Bitcoin Rally Claims Reviewed: U.S. Liquidity, Stablecoins, Reserves and Mining

Image
If you are weighing claims that $3 trillion to $6 trillion of U.S. liquidity, a government Bitcoin reserve, or 24-hour stablecoin payments will trigger a Bitcoin rally, you need to separate policy changes from price predictions. The original article on Injoys reviews each claim and shows you where the evidence is strong, incomplete, or overstated. Why easier bank rules are not money printing You first get a clear explanation of the supplementary leverage ratio, or SLR. This rule requires large banks to maintain core capital relative to their total leverage exposure, which can include U.S. Treasuries and central-bank reserves. Recent easing may give banks more capacity to intermediate Treasuries and participate in repo markets. However, you should not treat that capacity as actual lending, asset purchases, or quantitative easing. QE involves Federal Reserve asset purchases and expansion of its balance sheet. The article therefore finds insufficient evidence that SLR reform will auto...

Daedong Law 1651: Chungcheong Reform and Kim Yuk's Role

Image
If you are checking Chungcheong's tax rate in 1651, the answer is 10 du of rice annually per 1 gyeol of land, not the later rate of 12 du. The Hoseo Daedong Law collected 5 du in spring and 5 du in autumn. Kim Yuk's repeated proposals helped secure implementation in Chungcheong first. What changed in the tribute burden Instead of obtaining assigned tribute goods, obligations were assessed by land measured in gyeol. Revenue covered local expenses before the remainder went to the central government. This explains why the reform concerned both tax collection and spending: replacing tribute goods alone would not resolve additional collections for local costs. Historical painting of Joseon officials reviewing documents at low desks in a palace hall overlooking a courtyard Follow the Daedong Law through the records In the original article on Injoys, you can compare the tribute systems and follow a timeline of regional expansion. It distinguishes the initial rate from later rule...
